Always a few steps ahead, Julea launched her home design business in 1999 when interior redesign & home staging were just in their infancy. There was a new generation of designer emerging, one that didn't tell you to toss all your belongings to the curb or a need to shop couture to make your home fabulous. Along with her specialty certification training in Interior Redesign and Home Staging from the Interior Arrangement and Design Association, education in Fine Arts, a degree in Psychology from Bradley University; Julea too combined her innate passion for home entertaining into the perfect platform for her Interior Stylist decor & lifestyle design philosophy.

Julea started her business in San Francisco then relocated back to her hometown of Chicago in 2000. Julea filmed her first segment of HGTV that same summer and landed her first Model home project for a Real Estate Developer in 2001. Her latest Home Builder models can be visited, which is a wonderful real time showcase of her design and styling work. From TV to to working her magic with a one day room makeover - Julea is an seasoned expert at making the most of a home.

Julea and her family reside in the sleepy village of Palos Park, a tiny bedroom community just outside of Chicago. She has a passion for anything "home" from cooking to gardening -Complete with potage garden and yes... chickens. She's an active community member, having served on the board of an arts advocacy group, Palos Fine Arts since 2000, Orland Park Chamber member, and hosts two local Lifestyle cable TV shows, on Palos Heights Channel 4.
