I am the new generation of designer, an Interior Stylist. One that doesn't tell you to toss all your belongings to the curb, or you need to shop couture to make your home fabulous. I’ll reinvent your space with a fresh new arrangement of your things, source new pieces at my favorite shopping haunts, and if you need more - I have just the right people to paint, paper, sew, redo, refinish or renovate your space.

Meet Julea Joseph/Owner, Lead home stylist
Julea launched her interior styling and home staging business REINVENTING SPACE in 1999 at the forefront of a new emerging market. This new niche segment of interior design was brand new in the Chicagoland area led to her 1st appearance on HGTV in 2000, and subsequently, plentiful media and press coverage over the years.
Julea’s business has grown beyond interior design and home staging work with clients. She too shares her expertise and business model with those interested in home styling, staging and lifestyle design with her public speaking and educational offerings.

Julea will be your creative partner in enhancing, celebrating and appreciating your home from curbside to back fence. The key to an amazing home is creating that layered, perfect mix - A bit of old and new, rich and poor decor, an infusion of wonderful color and a style that speaks of your soul.
When not reinventing space, Julea + family reside in a woodsy patch in Palos Park in a 1950’s Ranch home. No Ranch home is complete without a coop of chickens and a garden that needs weekly weeding.
Julea has served since 2000 as a volunteer Board member for Palos Fine Arts - an arts advocacy organization serving the area.

Diana Burt is the home styling associate for the Western Chicago suburbs. Diana specializes in home staging evaluations, color, design selection, shopping and renovations. Her natural design talent, Interior Stylist certification, wonderful organizational skills and many cross country moves - Diana an invaluable addition to the team.
Diana Burt has an exceptional ability to combine her talents with a resourceful approach when working on home staging or decorating projects. She is an expert at organizing and a very creative stylist, and having been in the corporate move cycle for years, is an expert at prepping a home for sale.
